The storm of last week has taken its toll on the nest this year. Godspeed to this beautiful pair of eagles and their family. May He bring them both back safely to us next year.

Thank you Glo for all the video clips. They brought joy to my heart and to others as well I am sure. It is sad that it had to end this way. Maybe they will try another clutch of eggs ? I don't know that. If the cam stays on, we may have a surprise. The weather in New England states as well as up here in Canada is not easy, this year, it seems March looked more like February kind of weather with it's very cold spell and at the same time the amount of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Not good for the nesting birds.

I was so afraid of this. So heartbreaking for everybody.
Luckily, there will be next year, as our Liberty & Belle are young. But what a loss.

From day one this has been the site where our memories are stored. To be able to look back over the past season and now this season that has ended abruptly one is filled with unspeakable thoughts. Thank you Glo for everythng & I know you will continue to capture more for all of us in the future.
